I just spent $0 on food books

Check out what I got in the mail this week!
My friend work in publishing and sent me all these free and advance copies of food books, including an illustrated knife skill book (for both right and left handed people).
I’m a happy kid.

If the splendid soups book is the same one I gots, then it rocks quite hard. Some of the shit in there is a bitch to make but, I have’t made anything from that book that isn’t at least pretty good. The author has a number of books out, including one on sauces, and all of them are pretty damn nice.
Let me know how the knife skeelz book is…I needs me some training on that end of stuff.
Congratulations on yer books…now if you only knew how to read…immigrant.

Yeah, that’s the same book.
The knife skills book may be passed on because it seems to be mostly stuff I already know how to do (it’s not very advanced - nothing like carving cocottes and junk). All the info on knives is really informative (like how to properly hold a knife and how to stand while using it) and I consulted it when trying to pick out a new paring knife yesterday (more on that knife when it gets delivered).
I am eating Gordon Ramsay’s broccoli soup with goat cheese right now.
I don’t need to know how to read - I look at the photos.
