CSA: Week One

Full vegetable share from the Carroll Gardens CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Clockwise from left: Pea shoots, radishes, mixed greens, Boston lettuce, red Russian kale (I’m pretty sure this vegetable is a communist), bok choi (also a communist) and asparagus.

Pokey does not appreciate organic greens nor communists.

  1. Um - Hi Chewy - long time listener, first time caller. I know this is an old post but I’m thinking of doing the Carroll Gardens CSA, but before I shell over my $495, thought I would check with various folks and see if they thought it was worth it…i.e. did you think you got 20 bones worth of produce every week?
